Juniper compatible SRX-SFPP-10G-LR Description

EdgeOptic's SRX-SFPP-10G-LR compatible is a Juniper-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. SRX-SFPP-10G-LR is a Juniper ordering code for a 1310 nm single-mode 10 km 10GBASE-LR SFP+ used on SRX Services Gateways. EdgeOptic programs the EEPROM for Juniper host recognition, so the module reports correctly on SRX platforms that accept 10G SFP+ optics.

Built to IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 and the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431, SFF-8432), the module pairs a 1310 nm DFB laser with a PIN photodiode receiver. Launch power sits between −8.2 and 0.5 dBm, receiver sensitivity is −14.5 dBm, and overload is 0 dBm. A 6 dB link budget carries the connection across 10 km of duplex single-mode fiber on an LC interface.

Rates cover 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps, so the same module serves 10G Ethernet (10.31 Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps), and STM-64 (9.95 Gbps) depending on how the host port is configured. It runs from a single +3.3 V supply, holds a 0 to 70 °C commercial case range, and supports hot insertion. DDM/DOM per SFF-8472 makes TX power, RX power, temperature, supply voltage, and laser bias current readable from the host.
