Lenovo compatible 00FE331 Description
The EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 is a compatible replacement for the Lenovo 00FE331 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver. It provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet over single-mode fiber at 1310nm, reaching up to 10km with a duplex LC connector. This module is EEPROM-coded for Lenovo platforms.
The transceiver operates at data rates from 1.25 to 10.3125 Gbps, supporting 10GBASE-LR (IEEE 802.3ae) and Gigabit Ethernet applications. It uses a 1310nm DFB laser transmitter paired with a PIN photodiode receiver, with a minimum link budget of 6dB over standard G.652 single-mode fiber.
This module is compatible with Lenovo ThinkSystem servers (SR250, SR530, SR630), ThinkAgile HX/VX appliances, and the NE2580O RackSwitch. The module fits SFP+ ports on Lenovo 10Gb network adapters and LOM cards.
The 00FE331 is Lenovo's current ThinkSystem 10GBASE-LR SFP+ part number (feature code B0RJ). The 90Y9412 is an older Lenovo LR part number with the same specs, used in earlier System x servers. Both are functionally equivalent.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) is supported per SFF-8472. The module reports TX/RX optical power, temperature, laser bias current, and supply voltage in real time. It is MSA-compliant per SFF-8431 and SFF-8432, CE/RoHS certified, and operates in commercial temperature range (0 to 70C).
All EdgeOptic modules ship with a lifetime warranty and are tested before dispatch. For volume pricing or project support, contact our sales team.
