EdgeOptic's MMA1L30-CM compatible is a Mellanox-coded version of the EdgeOptic 100G-QSFP28-2.1 multi-vendor 100G CWDM4 QSFP28 transceiver. It runs four NRZ CWDM lanes at 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm over a single duplex LC/UPC pair of G.652 single-mode fiber and supports 2 km links. The module uses DML transmitters and PIN photodiode receivers, reports DOM diagnostics over the SFF-8636 management interface, and operates across the commercial 0 to 70 degrees C range. It complies with the 100G CWDM4 MSA Revision 1.1, the QSFP28 MSA SFF-8665 form factor, the 100G CLR4 Alliance specification, and the ITU-T G.694.2 CWDM wavelength grid.
The EEPROM is coded for recognition in Mellanox networking equipment, so the module reports correctly in NVIDIA Spectrum Ethernet switches and ConnectX Ethernet adapters that accept QSFP28 CWDM4 optics.
