The EDGEOPTIC MPO-MPO-OM5-12B is a high-performance MPO trunk cable designed for data center and enterprise network applications requiring high-density fiber connectivity. This 12 fibers trunk cable provides MPO-12 Female to MPO-12 Female connections with Type B (Reversed/Crossover) polarity configuration. The MPO connectors provide reliable multi-fiber termination for high-bandwidth applications.

The cable utilizes OM5 50/125μm Multi-Mode (MMF) optical fiber, optimized for operation at 850 / 880 / 910 / 940 nm (SWDM). The fiber delivers low attenuation of 2.3 dB/km at 850nm, and 0.6 dB/km at 1310nm, ensuring minimal signal loss across transmission distances.

The optical interface is precision-polished to achieve insertion loss of ≤0.75 dB Max (Standard) and return loss of ≥20 dB, meeting or exceeding industry standards for reliable network performance. These specifications ensure consistent signal quality and minimal reflection for sensitive optical equipment.

The cable features LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket material, Lime Green (OM5 Standard) color coding, 3 mm cable diameter. With a minimum bend radius of 7.5 nm, the cable provides flexibility for routing in confined spaces while maintaining optical performance. The cable is rated for 20 N installation tensile load and 20 N long-term tensile load, ensuring durability during installation and extended operation.
