The 10G-NIC-X540-2T utilizes a PCI-E 2.1 x8 bus interface with 5GT/s or 2.5GT/s transfer rate. The adapter supports network virtualization technologies including SR-IOV with 64 virtual functions, VMDq with 64 pools, and VLAN tagging. These features enable efficient virtualized deployments in server consolidation environments.
This network interface card incorporates comprehensive protocol support compliant with IEEE 802.3an for 10GBASE-T Ethernet, IEEE 802.3x flow control, IEEE 802.3ad link aggregation, and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging. Data center bridging capabilities include IEEE 802.1Qaz ETS and IEEE 802.1Qbb PFC for lossless Ethernet operation in converged infrastructure deployments.
