Nvidia compatible MFM1T02A-LR Description
EdgeOptic's MFM1T02A-LR compatible is an Nvidia-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR transceiver. MFM1T02A-LR is Nvidia's ordering code for a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ at 1310 nm, 10 km over single-mode fiber, duplex LC, with DOM. The EdgeOptic module meets IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 and the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8431, SFF-8432). EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM for Nvidia host recognition, so the module reports correctly on Nvidia platforms that accept 10G SFP+ optics.
A 1310 nm DFB laser feeds duplex single-mode fiber through an LC connector, with launch power held between −8.2 and 0.5 dBm. A 6 dB link budget covers 10 km. The PIN photodiode receiver is rated at −14.5 dBm sensitivity with a 0 dBm overload ceiling. Digital diagnostics per SFF-8472 report TX and RX power, case temperature, supply voltage, and bias current.
The module operates from 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps and covers 10G Ethernet (10.31 Gbps), Gigabit Ethernet (1.25 Gbps), and STM-64 (9.95 Gbps), with the host port setting the active rate. It is hot-pluggable, runs from a single +3.3 V supply, and carries a 0 to 70 °C commercial case rating.
