LC/APC Simplex OS2 Single-Mode Fiber Patch Cable Description

The EDGEOPTIC LC/APC-LC/APC-OS2-SX-LSZH-X is a premium single-mode fiber optic patch cable designed for reliable point-to-point connectivity in data centers, telecommunications facilities, and enterprise networks. This simplex (1 fiber) patch cable features LC/APC Male to LC/APC Male connectors with APC to APC polish configuration, ensuring optimal signal integrity for demanding network environments.

The cable utilizes OS2 9/125μm Single-Mode (SMF) optical fiber, optimized for operation at 1310 / 1550 nm (Dual Window SMF). The fiber delivers low attenuation of 0.3 dB/km at 1310nm, and 0.25 dB/km at 1550nm, ensuring minimal signal loss across transmission distances.

The optical interface is precision-polished to achieve insertion loss of ≤0.3 dB Max (Standard) and return loss of ≥60 dB (APC), meeting or exceeding industry standards for reliable network performance. These specifications ensure consistent signal quality and minimal reflection for sensitive optical equipment.

The cable features LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket material, Yellow (OS2/SMF Standard) color coding, 2 mm cable diameter. With a minimum bend radius of 30 nm, the cable provides flexibility for routing in confined spaces while maintaining optical performance. The cable is rated for 100 N installation tensile load and 50 N long-term tensile load, ensuring durability during installation and extended operation.

Operating temperature range spans -20°C to +60°C, with storage rated at -40°C to +85°C, making the cable suitable for controlled data center environments as well as more demanding industrial installations.

This patch cable is designed for telecommunications, enterprise networking, and data center applications requiring single-mode connectivity. Available in lengths up to 50 m, it supports a wide range of protocols including Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and SONET/SDH applications.

The EDGEOPTIC LC/APC-LC/APC-OS2-SX-LSZH-X is CE/RoHS certified, compliant with ISO/IEC-61754, EN 50399, and EN 50575 standards. All cables undergo comprehensive quality testing including optical parameter measurements, connector cleanliness verification, and full specification validation prior to shipment, ensuring reliable performance in production environments.
