EdgeOptic's SFP25-SR-SP compatible is a QLogic-coded 25GBASE-SR SFP28 transceiver built for QLogic (now Marvell) FastLinQ 41000-series 25 Gigabit adapters and HBAs. The module matches the QLogic original SKU for short-reach 25G Ethernet over multimode fiber and carries EEPROM programmed to identify as QLogic across FastLinQ firmware inventory checks.

Optical specs: 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, PIN photodiode receiver, TX power -8.4 to +2.4 dBm, RX sensitivity better than -10.3 dBm, 5.3 dB optical budget. Reach is 100 m on OM4, 100 m on OM5, and 70 m on OM3 with an LC/UPC duplex connector. The module is IEEE 802.3by Clause 112 compliant and supports RS-FEC via Clause 91 (RS(528,514)) when the host port negotiates it.
