RAD compatible SFP-P-2DH Description

EdgeOptic's SFP-P-2DH compatible is a RAD coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-80 multi-vendor 10GBASE-ZR transceiver. It is a duplex single-mode SFP+ module that carries 10 Gigabit Ethernet over a 1550 nm wavelength to 80 km, programmed with RAD-recognized EEPROM so the host reads it as a genuine SFP-P-2DH. The same EdgeOptic 10GBASE-ZR module ships under multiple vendor codes; this listing is the RAD variant.

The optics use an EML transmitter and an APD receiver to deliver a 23 dB link budget across the 80 km span. Transmit power runs 0 to +5 dBm and receive sensitivity is better than −24 dBm, with a chromatic dispersion tolerance of 1600 ps/nm. Both transmit and receive operate at 1550 nm over a duplex LC/UPC interface on standard G.652 single-mode fiber. Digital diagnostics monitoring is supported, so transmit power, receive power, laser bias, temperature, and supply voltage are all readable from the host for commissioning and ongoing fault isolation.

RAD lists the SFP-P-2DH as an SFP+ pluggable for its carrier-edge access and demarcation equipment, where it serves as the 10 Gigabit Ethernet long-reach optic across single-mode spans.
