This copper transceiver provides a cost-effective solution for upgrading network performance beyond Gigabit speeds without requiring fiber optic infrastructure deployment, making it ideal for environments seeking bandwidth improvements while leveraging existing copper cabling investments.

The 2.5G-SFP-T module supports multi-rate operation across 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 100BASE-T Ethernet standards, providing flexible speed operation from 100 Mbps to 2.5 Gbps with auto-negotiation capability. This multi-rate functionality enables seamless integration with mixed-speed environments while delivering 2.5 Gigabit performance where endpoints support it. The module features an integrated RJ45 connector providing direct copper connectivity without requiring external media converters.
