Ubiquiti Networks compatible UACC-OM-MM-1G-D-2 Description
EdgeOptic's UACC-OM-MM-1G-D compatible is a Ubiquiti-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1.25G-SFP-550D multi-vendor 1000BASE-SX transceiver. It matches the UniFi 1G Multi-Mode Optical Module spec: an 850nm VCSEL transmitter, a PIN photodiode receiver, and a duplex LC interface over multimode fiber. The module runs dual-rate, covering 1000BASE-SX Gigabit Ethernet at 1.25 Gbps and 1G Fibre Channel short-wave at 1.0625 Gbps, in line with IEEE 802.3z and FC-PI. Ubiquiti sells the OEM part as a two-pack under UACC-OM-MM-1G-D-2; the EdgeOptic compatible is a single module equal to one UACC-OM-MM-1G-D, so check your required quantity before ordering.
This is the multimode (MMF) module, not the single-mode UACC-OM-SM-1G-D. With a 7.5 dB optical budget, it reaches up to 550m over OM2 (50/125) multimode fiber per the 1000BASE-SX specification. It operates from a +3.3V supply across a 0 to 70°C commercial temperature range. The EdgeOptic compatible adds DDM/DOM digital diagnostics, which the OEM module does not provide, so the host can read live transmit power, receive power, temperature, and bias-current telemetry on the port.
The UACC-OM-MM-1G-D is the current Ubiquiti 1G MMF module and replaces the older UF-MM-1G. EdgeOptic codes the module with Ubiquiti-recognized EEPROM so it is accepted on UniFi switches and other Ubiquiti SFP-equipped devices without an unsupported-transceiver workaround. When you fit a 1G SFP into a 10G SFP+ port, some switch models need the port speed set to 1 Gbps manually rather than auto-negotiating, so check your switch port settings during commissioning.
The module is CE and RoHS certified, rated Class 1 Laser per IEC/EN 60825-1, and built to the SFP INF-8074i MSA. Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor optical platforms, it ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty. Frequently Asked Questions
Is the UACC-OM-MM-1G-D-2 a replacement for the older Ubiquiti UF-MM-1G?
Yes. The UACC-OM-MM-1G-D is the current-generation Ubiquiti 1G multimode module and replaces the older UF-MM-1G U-Fiber part. Both are 850nm 1000BASE-SX modules over duplex LC multimode fiber. If you are sourcing replacements for UF-MM-1G ports, the EdgeOptic UACC-OM-MM-1G-D compatible is the equivalent single module.
Will the UACC-OM-MM-1G-D work in an SFP+ port on a UniFi switch?
It fits and works in SFP+ ports that accept 1G optics, but some UniFi 10G SFP+ ports do not auto-negotiate down to 1 Gbps. On those models you set the port speed to 1 Gbps full-duplex manually in the controller. Check the port configuration during commissioning rather than relying on auto-negotiation.
