EdgeOptic's ZTE-compatible SFP-10GE-S10K is a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ module — a direct replacement for the ZTE original. 1310 nm wavelength, up to 10 km over single-mode fiber (OS1/OS2), LC duplex connectors. The S10K in the name refers to 10-kilometer reach, as opposed to ZTE's SFP-10GE-S20K which covers 20 km using a higher-power laser. Don't confuse the two — the S10K doesn't have the optical budget for 20 km spans.
Built on the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10 platform. IEEE 802.3ae and SFP+ MSA compliant (SFF-8431, SFF-8432). EEPROM is coded with ZTE-recognized vendor identification, so the module registers cleanly in ZTE SFP+ ports without triggering compatibility warnings or requiring manual provisioning. Supports data rates from 1.25 to 10.31 Gbps, covering 10 Gigabit Ethernet and multi-rate SFP+ host applications. Runs on 3.3V from the host slot, 0-70 C commercial temperature range. The module draws under 1W, well within the SFP+ MSA power envelope. CE/RoHS certified, Class 1 laser safety per IEC 60825-1.
