It provides a point-to-point QSFP28-to-QSFP28 link for 100G Ethernet, with the optical fiber pre-terminated at both ends for 20m over OM3 multimode fiber. That suits Nokia 100G data center and aggregation links where a sealed, lightweight optical run is preferred over copper or separate transceivers and patch fiber.

The cable runs at 850nm using VCSEL transmitters and PIN photodiode receivers, carrying 100G Ethernet at 103.125 Gbps.
