Allied Telesis compatible AT-SPTX-90 Description
EdgeOptic's AT-SPTX-90 compatible is an Allied Telesis-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-T multi-vendor 10/100/1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver. It matches the form factor, electrical interface, and reach of the original Allied Telesis SP Series copper SFP, so it drops into the same RJ45 ports and carries the same role in a production network. The AT-SPTX-90 is a copper twisted-pair module that connects over standard UTP cabling, not a fiber optic part.
The module is a copper transceiver for unshielded twisted-pair cable, with up to 100 meters of reach over Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6. The RJ45 connector accepts standard structured cabling, and the tri-speed chipset auto-negotiates 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T, the Gigabit rate built to IEEE 802.3ab, with Auto MDI/MDI-X handling straight or crossover wiring. Operation falls in the commercial 0 to 70 degrees Celsius range on a single +3.3 V supply, and digital diagnostics monitoring is supported. The module follows the SFP Multi-Source Agreement and the INF-8074i specification.
EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM with Allied Telesis-recognized identity data so the module is accepted by Allied Telesis switches and routers with standard SFP uplink ports. It works wherever the original AT-SPTX-90 is specified for copper Gigabit access. Host support depends on the platform, so verify the module against the transceiver compatibility list for your Allied Telesis switch before deployment. A like-for-like swap keeps a copper link at the same speed and reach.
Typical uses are copper uplinks from an SFP-equipped Allied Telesis switch into a LAN aggregation layer, server-to-switch connections inside the rack, and management or out-of-band links on twisted-pair cabling. The RJ45 interface lets the copper SFP plug straight onto existing copper plant, so a structured Cat5e or Cat6 run of up to 100 meters needs no media converters.
Backed by 15+ years of EdgeOptic compatibility engineering across vendor networking platforms, the AT-SPTX-90 compatible carries CE and RoHS certification and meets the SFP Multi-Source Agreement. It ships next business day from EU stock with a lifetime warranty. For deployment questions, contact our sales team.
