This copper transceiver provides a cost-effective solution for short-reach connectivity in data centers, enterprise networks, and industrial environments where fiber optic infrastructure is not required or where integration with existing copper cabling delivers operational and economic advantages.
The 1000M-SFP-T module supports auto-negotiation across 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet standards, providing flexible multi-speed operation from 10 Mbps to 1 Gbps over standard Category 5 or better twisted pair cabling. This tri-speed capability enables seamless integration with legacy 10/100 Mbps equipment while supporting full Gigabit Ethernet performance where available. The module features an integrated RJ45 connector providing direct copper connectivity without requiring external media converters or additional cabling adapters. Transmission distances reach up to 100 meters over Category 5 or better unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cabling, consistent with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet distance specifications for copper media.
