Arista SFP-1G-T Compatible 10/100/1000BASE-T SFP

EdgeOptic's SFP-1G-T compatible is an Arista-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-T multi-vendor tri-speed copper SFP. It carries the Arista SFP-1G-T part identity in its EEPROM, so an Arista switch reads it as a recognized transceiver. For Arista estates that depend on 1G copper access ports, this compatible module is the in-stock, drop-in alternative that holds the original electrical and mechanical specification.

The module is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP built to IEEE 802.3ab. It supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps operation, so a single part covers a Gigabit access port or a slower legacy link. Reach is 100 m over Cat 5, Cat 5e or Cat 6 unshielded twisted pair through a standard RJ45 connector, with Auto MDI/MDI-X handling straight-through and crossover cabling. Digital diagnostics monitoring is supported. The transceiver runs on a single +3.3 V supply across the commercial 0 to 70 C range and complies with the SFP MSA, INF-8074i, CE and RoHS.

SFP-1G-T works in Arista EOS switches that support 1G copper SFP ports. Arista EOS treats a 1000BASE-T SFP as a single-speed transceiver, so the port speed has to be set explicitly rather than left to automatic detection.
