EdgeOptic's R9Y49A compatible is an HPE Aruba-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-T multi-vendor 10/100/1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver. It matches the form factor, electrical interface, and reach of the original HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect 1000BASE-T copper SFP, so it drops into the same RJ45 SFP ports on EdgeConnect SD-WAN gateways. The R9Y49A is a copper twisted-pair module, not a fiber optic part.
