Brocade compatible 10G-SFPP-SR-S Description

EdgeOptic's 10G-SFPP-SR-S compatible is a Brocade-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver. Brocade-recognized EEPROM lets the optic register cleanly on Brocade ICX and VDX SFP+ cages, so the switch accepts the module without a vendor-mismatch warning. One universal SR hardware platform, 80+ vendor codes, including this Brocade variant.

Optical specifications, 10GBASE-SR class. 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, PIN photodiode receiver, multi-mode duplex LC. Reach is 300 m on OM3 and 400 m on OM4. TX output power runs −5 to 0 dBm, receiver sensitivity −11.1 dBm, receiver overload 0 dBm, link budget 6.1 dB. Multi-rate capability spans 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps, covering 10G Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 1G to 10G Fibre Channel, and STM-64. DDM/DOM supported for live link diagnostics. Compliance: SFF-8431, SFP MSA, IEEE 802.3ae, RoHS, IEC60825-1 Class 1 laser safety. Operating range 0 to 70°C commercial.
