EdgeOptic's 10G-SFPP-SR-SA8 compatible is a Brocade-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver, shipped as an 8-unit pack configuration. 10G-SFPP-SR-SA8 is Brocade's 8-pack ordering code for the 10GBASE-SR SFP+ used on Brocade ICX and Ruckus ICX Ethernet switches with 10GE SFP+ cages. The optic carries Brocade-recognized EEPROM identification so the switch firmware registers each module under the standard transceiver-acceptance policy.
