Brocade E1MG-TX-A Compatible 10/100/1000BASE-T SFP

EdgeOptic's E1MG-TX-A compatible is a Brocade-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-T multi-vendor tri-speed copper SFP. It carries the Brocade E1MG-TX-A part identity in its EEPROM, so a Brocade or Ruckus ICX switch reads it as a recognized transceiver. For ICX and FastIron estates still running E1MG-TX-A ports, this compatible module is the in-stock, drop-in alternative that holds the original electrical and mechanical specification.

The module is a 1000BASE-T copper SFP built to IEEE 802.3ab. It auto-negotiates across 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps, so one part covers a Gigabit access port or a slower legacy segment. Reach is 100 m over Cat 5, Cat 5e or Cat 6 unshielded twisted pair through a standard RJ45 connector, with Auto MDI/MDI-X handling straight-through and crossover cabling. Digital diagnostics monitoring is supported. The transceiver runs on a single +3.3 V supply across the commercial 0 to 70 C range and complies with the SFP MSA, INF-8074i, CE and RoHS.

E1MG-TX-A fits Brocade and Ruckus ICX switches and Foundry FastIron platforms. The ICX line originated as Foundry FastIron and continued under Brocade, then Ruckus, now part of CommScope, so the same SKU carries across those generations.
