EdgeOptic's 407-BBEF compatible is a Dell-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver. Dell-recognized EEPROM lets the optic register cleanly on Dell PowerSwitch and Force10 series switch SFP+ cages, so the switch accepts the module without a vendor-mismatch alert. One universal SR hardware platform, 80+ vendor codes, including this Dell variant.
