EdgeOptic's ET5402-SR compatible is an Edgecore-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver. Edgecore-recognized EEPROM lets the optic register cleanly on Edgecore AS-series open networking switches running SONiC or ONIE-based network operating systems, so the platform accepts the module without a vendor-mismatch warning. One universal SR hardware platform, 80+ vendor codes, including this Edgecore variant.
Optical specifications, 10GBASE-SR class. 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, PIN photodiode receiver, multi-mode duplex LC. Data rate 10.3125 Gbps. Reach is 300 m on OM3 and 400 m on OM4.
