EdgeOptic's OCe10100-OPT compatible is an Emulex-coded 10GBASE-SR Ethernet SFP+ for Emulex OneConnect Converged Network Adapters in the OCe10100 single-port, OCe10102 dual-port and OCe11100 series CNA families. The adapter line is also sold under several OEM part numbers, including HPE StoreFabric CN1100R and NC552SFP, IBM 49Y7942 and 42C1820 CNA variants, and Dell's OCe10102-IM-D rebrand. The optic itself is a standard 10GBASE-SR Ethernet SFP+ per IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52 at 10.3125 Gbps. FCoE and iSCSI offload happens in the CNA silicon and firmware, not the pluggable module. The SFP+ is a 10GbE Ethernet transport part, not a Fibre Channel optic.
Optical performance is full IEEE 802.3ae Clause 52: 850 nm VCSEL transmitter, 850 nm PIN photodiode receiver, and a 6.1 dB link budget covering 300 m on OM3 and 400 m on OM4 multimode fiber over a duplex LC interface. OM2 reaches approximately 82 m and OM1 approximately 33 m where legacy multimode plant remains in service. Mechanical envelope is the SFP+ MSA (SFF-8432) with SFF-8472 digital diagnostics exposing TX power, RX power, laser bias current, supply voltage and case temperature.
