Our Compatible Fujitsu FIM39740/172 QSFP28 transceiver is based on our BIDI-100G-Q28-SL40B product, which has the same parameters and is manufactured in accordance with the same industry standards as its OEM counterpart. Our compatible module version is designed for operation over a Single Fiber Single-Mode Fiber (SMF) optical cable. It has a minimum guaranteed optical budget of 14.7dB (AVG), 13dB (OMA), which typically is enough to reach about 40 km. AVG shows the value calculated from Average receive power (min). Average receive power is only informative and not the actual signal strength indicator. OMA shows the value calculated from Receiver Sensitivity. Receiver Sensitivity parameter shows the actual power. A value below this value does not ensure compliance, but value above this ensures signal stability. However, distance is only an indicative parameter calculated for identification comfort. Finally, we calculate distance while keeping in mind the minimum (guaranteed) optical budget and the average attenuation of optical cabling in the industry. Our Fujitsu FIM39740/172 compatible transceiver uses a high-quality EML TOSA transmitter operating at 1309.14nm nominal wavelength and a 1304.58nm PIN ROSA receiver. This module supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics and provides diagnostic data about the current operating conditions.
