M-SFP-10-LR/LC EEC Hirschmann Compatible 10GBASE-LR SFP+

EdgeOptic's M-SFP-10-LR/LC EEC compatible is a Hirschmann-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10I multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver, coded for Hirschmann's EEC extended-temperature transceiver family. It carries a DFB laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver at 1310 nm, with minimum transmit power of -8.2 dBm, maximum transmit power of -0.5 dBm and receiver sensitivity of -14.5 dBm, supporting single-mode fiber links to 10 km over a duplex LC connector pair within the 1260 to 1360 nm operating band. Digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) is supported for real-time transmit power, receive power, temperature and voltage readouts. Hirschmann's own documentation defines the EEC designation as Extended Environmental Condition, meaning a wider operating temperature range than the standard version of the same optic; a Hirschmann switch manual notes that SFP transceivers without the EEC extension are limited to the standard temperature range. EdgeOptic's compatible module carries its own industrial rating of -45C to +85C, while Hirschmann documents the M-SFP-10-LR/LC EEC itself at -40C to +85C; both cover the same industrial temperature class.

Optical link budget is rated at 6 dB across the operating range, with power supplied from a single 3.3V rail per the SFP MSA. The module meets CE marking, FDA and IEC 60825-1 Class 1 laser safety, RoHS and SFF-8431 electrical and mechanical requirements. This module carries a lifetime warranty.
