M-SFP-TX/RJ45 Hirschmann Compatible 1000BASE-T 100 m SFP Transceiver

EdgeOptic's M-SFP-TX/RJ45 compatible is a Hirschmann-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-M copper transceiver. It carries 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet over twisted-pair copper at a fixed 1000 Mbps, with no lower-speed fallback, so every device on the link must run at Gigabit. The module uses an RJ45 connector, reaches up to 100 m over Cat5 or Cat5e cabling, and runs on a single +3.3 V supply. It meets IEEE 802.3ab Clause 40 and the INF-8074i SFP MSA, and its DDM support reports module temperature and supply voltage to the host for live monitoring. Operating temperature is 0 to 70 °C, which fully covers the OEM Hirschmann part's rating, so there is no substitution risk against the original.

The M-SFP-TX/RJ45 fits Hirschmann managed industrial switches that expose Gigabit Ethernet SFP slots, giving a copper uplink where fiber is unnecessary over the 100 m span. It suits short cabinet runs in industrial control and enterprise LAN environments. The OEM does not publish a compatible switch list for this part, so verify the module against the target switch's transceiver support before deployment.
