The 1000M-SFP-M module operates at a fixed 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet rate over standard Category 5 or better twisted pair cabling. Unlike tri-speed copper SFP modules that support auto-negotiation across multiple speeds, this Gigabit-only variant is optimized for environments where all connected devices operate at 1000BASE-T, providing streamlined operation without lower-speed fallback. The module features an integrated RJ45 connector providing direct copper connectivity without requiring external media converters or additional cabling adapters.
