0231A0A6 is an HPE A-series 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver with H3C lineage. The 0231A0xx numbering scheme comes from the H3C/3Com legacy inventory convention, carried into HPE A-series after the 3Com acquisition. It targets Comware-based platforms: former H3C S5820, S5830 and S5900 switch families now branded under HPE, plus HPE FlexFabric 5900, 5920 and 5930 data center switches and older HPE 59xx aggregation chassis.
