EdgeOptic's C8R25A compatible is an HPE-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver. HPE-recognized EEPROM lets the optic register cleanly on HPE MSA storage array iSCSI host ports, so the controller accepts the module without a vendor-mismatch alert.
