JL796A is HPE compatible 5 meters 100G Active Optical Cable, operating over Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF). 100G Active Optical Cable is equipped with MSA standard compatible QSFP28 transceiver assembly at each end of cable. Our compatible HPE X2A0 100G QSFP28 5m AOC Cable uses 4 x 850nm VCSEL transmitters and 4 x PIN photo-detector receivers operating over 4 parallel data lanes of OM3 MMF cable. Our HPE compatible 100G Active Optical Cable supports 96.97-112.2 Gbps data rate and primarly is used in such applications as 100G Ethernet (100.125Gbps), however AOC cable chipset additionally can support 4 x InfiniBand EDR(96.97Gbps), 4x 32G Fiber Channel (112.2Gbps) and OTU4 (112Gbps) applications.
