It provides a point-to-point QSFP28-to-QSFP28 link for 100G Ethernet, with the optical fiber pre-terminated at both ends for 30m over OM3 multimode fiber. That suits Huawei 100G data center and aggregation links where a sealed, lightweight optical run is preferred over copper or separate transceivers and patch fiber.
