Juniper SRX-SFP-1GE-T Compatible 1000BASE-T Copper SFP

EdgeOptic's SRX-SFP-1GE-T compatible is a Juniper-coded version of the EdgeOptic 1000M-SFP-T multi-vendor 10/100/1000BASE-T copper SFP transceiver. It carries the SRX-platform part identity (Juniper 740-013111), so a Juniper SRX services gateway reads it the same way it reads a factory module. The SRX- prefix marks this as the SRX-platform ordering code; it is a copper twisted-pair module, not a fiber optic part.

The transceiver runs over unshielded twisted-pair cable, with up to 100 m of reach on Cat 5, Cat 5e, or Cat 6. The RJ45 connector accepts standard structured cabling, and the tri-speed chipset auto-negotiates 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T, the Gigabit rate built to IEEE 802.3ab, with Auto MDI/MDI-X handling straight or crossover wiring. Operation falls in the commercial 0 to 70 degrees Celsius range on a single +3.3 V supply. The build follows the SFP Multi-Source Agreement and the INF-8074i specification.

Works on Juniper SRX Series firewalls and services gateways wherever the original SRX-SFP-1GE-T is specified for copper Gigabit access. The SRX-SFP-1GE-T is the commercial 0 to 70 degrees Celsius ordering code in the SRX copper SFP line. The SRX-SFP-1GE-T-ET (Juniper part 740-027085) is a separate extended-temperature variant rated for negative 40 to 85 degrees Celsius and ships under its own ordering code. The two share the same form factor and reach, but only the -ET part is qualified for industrial or outdoor environments.

EdgeOptic codes the EEPROM with Juniper-recognized identity data so the module is accepted on SRX services gateways with standard SFP host ports.
