Our EDGEOPTIC CWDM-10GFH-SFP-80I is a multi-vendor compatible 10G Fronthaul CWDM SFP+ dual-fiber optical module designed for mobile network infrastructure supporting CPRI and OBSAI protocol standards with wavelength division multiplexing capability over ultra-long distances in harsh environmental conditions. The CWDM-10GFH-SFP-80I module is available across 8 CWDM channels spanning from 1470nm to 1610nm according to the ITU-T G.694.2 wavelength grid. With data rates from 1.228 to 10.138 Gbps, this industrial-grade transceiver enables high-density wavelength multiplexed fronthaul connectivity between baseband units and remote radio heads in 4G LTE and 5G network deployments requiring both maximum reach and extreme temperature operation.

Our 10G Fronthaul CWDM 80km Industrial SFP+ transceiver utilizes DFB (Distributed Feedback) laser technology for transmission and APD (Avalanche Photodiode) for receiving. This enhanced receiver sensitivity enables the module to ensure a 23 dB guaranteed optical link budget, which determines the maximum transmission distance. Over single-mode fiber, the transceiver can reach distances up to 80 kilometers when deployed with appropriate CWDM multiplexing equipment.
