EdgeOptic's MFM1T02A-LR-I compatible is a Mellanox-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-10I multi-vendor 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver. It transmits at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber through a duplex LC/UPC connector, reaching 10 km with a 6 dB guaranteed optical link budget. A DFB laser and PIN photodiode deliver transmit power from -8.2 dBm to -0.5 dBm, receiver sensitivity better than -14.5 dBm, and 0 dBm receiver overload, with chromatic dispersion tolerance of 70 to 100 ps/nm. The supported data rate range spans 1.25 to 11.32 Gbps, covering 10 Gigabit Ethernet at 10.31 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet at 1.25 Gbps, 1/2/4/8/10G Fibre Channel, and SDH/SONET STM-64 at 9.95 Gbps, per the SFF-8431 SFP+ MSA hardware envelope. DDM/DOM diagnostics report transmit power, receive power, bias current, supply voltage and temperature in real time.
