EdgeOptic's AFBR-703SMZ-QL compatible is an Avago-coded version of the EdgeOptic 10G-SFP-300 multi-vendor 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver, supplied as the QLogic-coded form for QLogic host bus adapters and converged network adapters with SFP+ cages. QLogic-recognized EEPROM lets the optic register cleanly on the QLogic HBA or CNA card, so the host driver accepts the module as a recognized OEM transceiver. AFBR-703SMZ-QL is the QLogic-OEM-coded form of Avago's AFBR-703SMZ 10GBASE-SR SFP+ module family.
850 nm VCSEL transmitter, PIN photodiode receiver, multi-mode duplex LC. Reach is up to 300 m on OM3 and 400 m on OM4 multi-mode fiber per the IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR specification. TX output power runs −5 to 0 dBm, receiver sensitivity −11.1 dBm, link budget 6.1 dB. DDM/DOM supported via SFF-8472 for live link diagnostics.
