Our EDGEOPTIC 10G-SFP-T-80 is a multi-vendor compatible 10GBASE-T SFP+ copper module engineered for extended-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over structured copper cabling infrastructure. The 10G-SFP-T-80 module supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet standard with enhanced signal processing capabilities, providing data rates up to 10 Gbps over extended copper distances. Our 10GBASE-T Extended Reach SFP+ transceiver utilizes advanced copper PHY technology with enhanced equalization and signal processing circuits to enable reliable high-speed transmission over twisted-pair cabling at distances beyond standard specifications. The transceiver can reach distances up to 80 meters over Cat6a or Cat7 copper cabling under optimal conditions, significantly exceeding the standard 10GBASE-T specification. Performance varies based on cable quality, installation practices, electromagnetic interference levels, and environmental factors. However, distance is just an indicative parameter calculated for comfort of identification – eventually we calculate distance taking into account cable specifications and environmental factors in the deployment.
