Ubiquiti Networks compatible UF-MM-10G Description
Ubiquiti originally released the UF-MM-10G as the first 10G SFP+ multimode transceiver in its U Fiber product line. The UACC-OM-MM-10G-D has since replaced it in Ubiquiti's current catalogue, but both modules share the same 10GBASE-SR optical specifications. The UF-MM-10G part number still appears in older UniFi and EdgeSwitch deployment guides, and large numbers of installed units remain in production networks. EdgeOptic's compatible version is based on the 10G-SFP-300 platform with Ubiquiti-recognised EEPROM coding.
The module operates at 850 nm with a VCSEL transmitter and PIN receiver. LC/UPC duplex connectors provide the optical interface. With a 6.1 dB link budget, maximum reach is 300 m on OM3 and 400 m on OM4 multimode fiber. DDM data can be viewed through the UniFi controller or EdgeOS CLI.
Compatible Ubiquiti platforms include UniFi Switch Aggregation (USW-Aggregation), USW-Pro-24-PoE, USW-Pro-48-PoE, USW-Enterprise series, USW-Enterprise-24-PoE, EdgeSwitch 16 XG, EdgeRouter Infinity, and UDM-Pro/UDM-SE appliances with SFP+ ports. The module registers correctly in the UniFi Network controller and EdgeOS management interfaces without compatibility warnings or manual overrides. For networks running a mix of UF-MM-10G and UACC-OM-MM-10G-D modules on opposite ends of the same fibre span, interoperability is seamless since the optical parameters are identical.
