Our EDGEOPTIC 800G-OSFP800L-502 is a multi-vendor compatible 800GBASE-2xDR4 Linear Pluggable Optical (LPO) module designed for medium-reach 800 Gigabit Ethernet applications requiring ultra-low latency and flexible breakout options. This transceiver utilizes the OSFP800 form factor with LPO architecture, delivering 850 Gbps aggregate throughput through a 2xDR4 configuration with eight parallel 106.25 Gbps lanes using PAM4 modulation at 1310nm wavelength.

The 800G-OSFP800L-502 operates in the 1304.5-1317.5nm wavelength range, utilizing EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode for signal reception. The LPO architecture eliminates internal DSP processing, enabling sub-5 nanosecond latency for time-critical applications. This configuration ensures a 3 dB link budget with maximum transmission distance of 500 meters over OS2 single-mode fiber.

This 800G OSFP800 LPO transceiver is hot-pluggable with dual MTP/MPO-12 APC connectors serving as the optical interface. The 2xDR4 configuration enables breakout to dual 400G DR4 links when required, providing deployment flexibility. The electrical interface conforms to OSFP800 MSA specifications with linear passthrough signal path. Host-based CDR provides signal conditioning while maintaining latency benefits.
