Our EDGEOPTIC 100G-CFP4-10 is a multi-vendor compatible 100GBASE-LR4 CFP4 optical module designed for high-density 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications operating over single-mode fiber infrastructure. The 100G-CFP4-10 module utilizes 4-channel LAN WDM technology with wavelengths at 1295.56nm, 1300.05nm, 1304.58nm, and 1309.14nm for both transmission and reception, supporting aggregate data rates up to 112 Gbps including OTU4 optical transport network applications. Our 100G CFP4 LR4 module employs EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode array for reception, delivering reliable performance in the compact CFP4 form factor.
The module ensures a 6.3 dB guaranteed optical link budget, supporting transmission distances up to 10 kilometers over standard single-mode fiber. Each of the four optical lanes operates at approximately 25 Gbps using NRZ (Non-Return to Zero) modulation, with average launch power ranging from 4.3 to 4.5 dBm per lane.
