Our EDGEOPTIC 100G-CFP2-10 is a multi-vendor compatible 100GBASE-LR4 CFP2 optical module designed for high-bandwidth 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications operating over single-mode fiber infrastructure. The 100G-CFP2-10 module employs 4-channel LAN WDM technology with wavelengths at 1295.56nm, 1300.05nm, 1304.58nm, and 1309.14nm for both transmission and reception, supporting aggregate data rates up to 112 Gbps including OTU4 transport network applications. Our 100G CFP2 LR4 transceiver utilizes EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode array for receiving, ensuring stable performance across the operational range.
The transceiver delivers a 6.3 dB guaranteed optical link budget, supporting transmission distances up to 10 kilometers over standard single-mode fiber. Each of the four optical lanes operates at approximately 25 Gbps using NRZ (Non-Return to Zero) modulation, with average launch power between 4.3 and 4.5 dBm per lane. The receiver sensitivity of -10.6 dBm per lane with overload tolerance up to 4.5 dBm ensures reliable signal detection across varying link conditions.
