Our EDGEOPTIC DWDM-10GFH-SFP-40 is a multi-vendor compatible 10G Fronthaul DWDM SFP+ dual-fiber optical module designed for mobile network infrastructure supporting CPRI and OBSAI protocol standards with dense wavelength division multiplexing capability. The DWDM-10GFH-SFP-40 module is available across 45 DWDM channels (ITU channels 17-61) in the C-band with 100GHz spacing according to the ITU-T G.694.1 wavelength grid. With data rates from 1.228 to 10.138 Gbps, this transceiver enables maximum-density wavelength multiplexed fronthaul connectivity between baseband units and remote radio heads in 4G LTE and 5G network deployments.
Our 10G Fronthaul DWDM 40km SFP+ transceiver utilizes EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode for receiving. The EML transmitter provides the narrow spectral width required for DWDM applications with tight channel spacing.
