This copper transceiver provides a cost-effective solution for short-reach connectivity in enterprise networks, industrial environments, and legacy infrastructure where fiber optic deployment is not required or where integration with existing 10/100 Mbps copper cabling delivers operational and economic advantages.
The 100M-SFP-F module supports auto-negotiation between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T Ethernet standards, providing flexible dual-speed operation from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps over standard Category 5 or better twisted pair cabling. This dual-speed capability enables seamless integration with legacy 10 Mbps equipment while supporting full Fast Ethernet performance where available. The module features an integrated RJ45 connector providing direct copper connectivity without requiring external media converters or additional cabling adapters.
