Our EDGEOPTIC 100G-CFP2-40 is a multi-vendor compatible 100GBASE-ER4 CFP2 optical module engineered for extended-reach 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications operating over single-mode fiber networks. The 100G-CFP2-40 module implements 4-channel LAN WDM technology utilizing wavelengths at 1295.56nm, 1300.05nm, 1304.58nm, and 1309.14nm for both transmission and reception, delivering aggregate data rates up to 112 Gbps with OTU4 optical transport network support. Our 100G CFP2 ER4 transceiver incorporates EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission paired with high-sensitivity PIN photodiode array for reception, optimized for long-haul performance requirements.
The transceiver provides an exceptional 18 dB guaranteed optical link budget, enabling transmission distances up to 40 kilometers over standard single-mode fiber infrastructure.
