This transceiver utilizes the OSFP800 form factor, delivering 850 Gbps aggregate throughput through an SR8 configuration with eight parallel 106.25 Gbps lanes using PAM4 (Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4-level) signaling technology. The 800G-OSFP800-100 operates at 850nm wavelength for both transmission and reception, utilizing VCSEL (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode for signal reception. This optical configuration ensures a guaranteed 1.8 dB link budget, enabling reliable transmission over OM4/OM5 multimode fiber.
