Our EDGEOPTIC 800G-OSFP800-2.2 is a multi-vendor compatible 800GBASE-2xFR4 OSFP800 optical module designed for medium-reach 800 Gigabit Ethernet applications over single-mode fiber. This transceiver utilizes the OSFP800 form factor, delivering 850 Gbps aggregate throughput through a 2xFR4 configuration using CWDM wavelength channels (1271/1291/1311/1331nm) with 106.25 Gbps per lane via PAM4 modulation. The dual duplex LC/UPC connector design provides cost-effective mid-range connectivity.
The 800G-OSFP800-2.2 operates across CWDM wavelengths in the 1271-1331nm range, utilizing EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode for signal reception. This optical configuration ensures a guaranteed 4 dB link budget, enabling reliable transmission over single-mode fiber up to 2 kilometers.
