Our EDGEOPTIC 800G-OSFP800-12 is a multi-vendor compatible 800GBASE-2xLR4 OSFP800 optical module designed for long-reach 800 Gigabit Ethernet applications operating over single-mode fiber. This transceiver utilizes the OSFP800 form factor, delivering 850 Gbps aggregate throughput through a 2xLR4 configuration using 2x4 CWDM wavelength channels (1271/1291/1311/1331nm) with 106.25 Gbps per lane via PAM4 modulation. The dual duplex LC/UPC connector design enables cost-effective long-haul connectivity.

The 800G-OSFP800-12 operates across CWDM wavelengths in the 1271-1331nm range, utilizing EML (Electro-absorption Modulated Laser) technology for transmission and PIN photodiode for signal reception. This optical configuration ensures a guaranteed 6.3 dB link budget, enabling reliable transmission over single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers. The extended reach capability makes this module ideal for metro area networks, campus backbone connections, and data center interconnects spanning multiple buildings.
