Our Huawei DAC cable, AOC, and Breakout Cable compatible range is used for 10G to 100G short-distance connections, primarily to provide data center internal connections, storage area networks, network equipment rooms of corporations and ISPs, and high-performance computing connectivity. Our compatible Huawei DAC cable range is based on our own products, which we can adapt for effective operation on all common Huawei network platforms, such as the Huawei CloudEngine series, S Series Switches and other Huawei platforms. Both cable types (DAC and AOC) have advantages and disadvantages, as well as specific use cases. DAC cables are a high-speed copper cable assembly that includes pre-terminated optical transceivers to Copper cable and does not include any optical laser parts. Twinax cables have gained popularity due to their simplicity and low cost. Furthermore, Huawei DAC compatibles have low power consumption and simple installation. AOC (Active Optical Cable) is a high-speed optical cable that is equipped with a VSCEL laser in the transmitter and uses a multi-mode optical fiber instead of copper, providing the user with a number of advantages. AOCs are much lighter than Twinax DAC cables and can reach distances of up to 100 meters (DACs can reach distances up to 10 meters, therefore, for anything over 10m AOC should be considered). DAC cables also have a small bending radius of 3 millimeters and are highly resistant to electromagnetic radiation (EMI).

Many network architects favor Huawei 100G DAC cable compatibles due to their high speed, low power consumption, and ability to make rack-to-rack connections over short distances. Our Huawei 100G DAC compatibles feature four independently operating 25 Gbps lanes. As well, the Huawei 100G AOC Cables are an excellent option for use by network architects in situations in which it is necessary to make interconnections at limited distances that are high speed, robust, and low in power consumption. Breakout cable is able to break high speed port into multiple low speed ports. Since 100G data rates are now the mainstream product, this is not surprising. The Huawei product is compliant with the 100G Ethernet (100GBASE-CR4) standard. Using 10G speeds, our Huawei SFP+ active optical cables may be used to make cost-effective interconnections in the equipment room within racks using the ToR method or across close racks via the EoR or MoR approaches. Further on about the AOC, Huawei portfolio SFP+ Active Optical Cables are available in lengths up to 20 meters, but we can provide Huawei cables for even higher distances. As for the 10G Huawei DAC cable – they are fully passive high-speed copper cable assemblies, equipped with SFF-8432 MSA standard compatible SFP+ pre terminated cage at each end of cable. Our Huawei DAC 10G compatible product line supports 1.0625-10.52 Gbps data rate and such applications as 10G Ethernet, GE Ethernet and can be used for mobile network fronthaul CPRI & OBSAI protocol options.

Our Huawei DAC 40G compatibles provide a cost-effective way of establishing 40Gbps (40G Ethernet) interconnections, and this mature technology is still favored by many network architects. The 40G QSFP+ DACs feature four independent 10Gbps lanes in each direction to support a combined data transfer rate of 40Gbps. Our Huawei 25G SFP28 and 50G SFP56 DAC and AOC Compatibles are high-speed cable assemblies, providing 2.5 and 5.0 times higher bandwidth while employing the same form factor of 10G SFP+. Depending on the needs of the customer, Huawei 25G SFP28 DAC or 50G SFP56 DAC, which is a fully passive Copper cable assembly, or Huawei 25G SFP28 AOC, an assembly with OM3 Multimode optical fiber as the interconnecting medium, can be chosen. Both provide a cost-effective transition to higher density and better performance, compared to 10G, but one is more suitable than the other, regarding the situation. Our 25G SFP28 to SFP28 and 50G SFP56 to 50G SFP56 Copper Direct-Attach Cable products are available in lengths from 1 to 5 meters, while Active Optical Cables can reach up to 10 meters.
