Single fiber DWDM for max channel density on one strand: C-Band 20ch/dir (100 GHz), O-Band 16ch/dir (200 GHz). Bidirectional — ideal for long-haul and metro where fiber is limited.
Single Fiber (BiDi) DWDM multiplexers deliver maximum channel density over a single strand using ITU-T G.694.1 wavelengths. C-Band supports up to 20 independent channels at 100 GHz spacing, while O-Band offers 16 channels at 200 GHz spacing. Both operate bidirectionally, pairing wavelengths for transmit and receive on the same fiber to maximize fiber utilization. These passive filters require no power, cooling, or configuration, and support any protocol with DWDM-tuned transceivers. The expandable C-Band architecture lets you start with 8 channels and scale to 20 as capacity requirements grow.
