Our Cisco CWDM SFP & SFP+ compatibles and Passive CWDM Filters portfolio enables gradual and low-cost network capacity expansion.

Our Cisco CWDM SFP Compatible portfolio

Our Cisco CWDM SFP and SFP+ portfolio is shown below, which we built using the Cisco CWDM SFP compatibility matrix and matched our optical products with the Cisco product nomenclature to assist network experts in navigating our product range. CWDM technology is widely used because it is simple to deploy and reasonably affordable. It is often used to increase network capacity granularly in access, metro, and regional networks. ITU-T G.694.2 defines CWDM technology, which specifies the 18 wavelengths that can be utilized in CWDM connections ranging from 1270 to 1610nm. Cisco CWDM optics (both Cisco CWDM SFP and Cisco CWDM SFP +) only support 8 wavelengths between 1470 and 1610 nm. Historically, this range had better attenuation properties, however newer generations of optical fibers are no longer as sensitive. We provide CWDM optical transceivers for all 18 wavelengths stipulated in ITU-T G.694.2, and we can configure these modules to work on all common Cisco platforms. You may build 18 parallel wavelength connections using two optical fibers or 9 parallel wavelength connections using a single optical fiber with these compatible Cisco CWDM SFP modules and CWDM passive filters. Cisco CWDM SFP Compatibles

According to the Cisco CWDM SFP compatibility matrix, the Cisco CWDM SFP portfolio has eight wavelengths that provide CWDM connections up to a maximum theoretical distance of 80 kilometers (Excluding passive filter attenuation). Our compatible versions to these eight Cisco CWDM SFP modules are summed up below, but we would like to draw your attention to the fact that Our 1G CWDM product portfolio is able to provide Cisco compatibility in all 18 ITU-T G.694.2 wavelengths, as well as a line budget of up to 36dB, enabling connections of more than 100km in length. Cisco CWDM SFP+ 10G Compatibles

The 10G Cisco CWDM optics, much as the GE CWDM optics, includes eight wavelengths. We then harmonized these wavelengths with compatible versions of our products, which you can see further down in this section. It is important to note that the breadth of our product portfolio is substantially bigger. We are able to provide Cisco CWDM SFP+ compatible solutions in all of the ITU-T G.694.2 wavelengths and at greater distances, reaching up to 80 kilometers. Please let us know if you need assistance in developing a viable CWDM solution.

Our Cisco CWDM Mux Alternatives

CWDM optical transceivers and passive CWDM filters are two key components of passive CWDM network systems. Since its portfolio is built on eight wavelengths, Cisco supplies the Cisco 8 and 4 channel CWDM multiplexer demultiplexer to its clients, and its two most popular products are the Cisco CWDM MUX 8 and the Cisco CWDM MUX 4. Our product portfolio is built on all 18 ITU-T G.694.2 specified wavelengths, allowing us to provide a wider range of products. There are passive filters available with up to 18 parallel connections utilizing two-core connections or 9 parallel connections using a single fiber optic and bi-directional channel design. We may also assist in the preparation of customized CWDM solutions, beginning with advising and planning network channel plans and finishing with custom CWDM multiplexers, OADMs, and suitable optical transceivers.
