# Product Description
The 100G-ADPT-CFP2-QSFP adapter module converts 100 Gigabit CFP2 port into 100 Gigabit QSFP28 port and supports 100G Ethernet and OTN4 applications. With 100G-ADPT-CFP2-QSFP, adapter module engineers have a flexibility to use 100G interface of equipment with both – CFP2 or QSFP28 modules. Such flexibility is important in cases when specific type of interface is not available in one or other transceiver form factor or when engineers want to use the same form factor of transceiver for interfaces across multiple platforms deployed in network.
